A little Deep Sea action to hold me over!!!!!

So yesterday, was a day that I had planned to go deep sea fishing, I booked this trip a little more then a month ago, when the fishing reports were claiming day after day of 1600 plus fish on four boats. Well that lasted for a bout a week then the numbers started to drop, I was hoping to have a fair day yesterday. All weekend I was worried because of the crappy weather we were having. Then Sunday night I looked at the forecast and it was suppose to be beautiful for our trip. I was so excited.
The day started early for me, got up at 2:30 am and out the door by 3am to make the 2 hour trip to the dock, My drive was very peaceful but also  very irritating, What ever happened to 25hr convenience stores???? It took me 1 1/2 hours into my 2 hour trip to find a store open so I could get my coffee. I was hoping the day was only gonna get better. So I pull into the dock at exactly 5am. I am met within minutes by by friends Jeff and Ang. They too are super excited to go. Last year Jeff and I took a trip out with Jessica and a few others not to be mentioned. And we slayed them over 100 keepers between Jeff and I alone. We could only hope today would be just as good.  A few moments later 2 more of our party arrived. Buzz and Sheila. Buzz is one of the best fisherman I know. and By far the best Walleye fisherman known to man kind. All that was left was to wait for my father who showed up 20 minutes later and get this...He had shortest to distance to go. Always fashionably late. Lol!!! Anyway we board the boat and head out for the two hour ride to the fishing spot. The water was calm and the sun was shinning, absolutely stunning. We made it to our spots for the day and fished a hard 8 hours, enjoying the beautiful weather and calm seas. We were able to catch a great number of fish. our totals for the day were over 200 fish with 75 keepers. We would of have many more keepers ,however they just changed the law 27 days earlier on the length that haddock had to be to keep. Overall amazing day with great company and great  weather
